Went in to buy some samosas, spring rolls, pakoras and mitai as we had guests visiting. Well, I wish I hadn’t bothered. Firstly the shop is *extremely dated. The floor is dirty, walls filthy, cob webs visible in the corners of the ceiling, cool counters very dirty at the base and one was on bricks! The entire premises needs a complete refurb from top to bottom, I dread to think what the kitchen looks like if this is what the shop floor looks like. A lot of businesses took advantage of the closures during COVID to overhaul and renovate their premises, these guys missed a huge opportunity. The samosas were ok- quite bland and nothing special at all. The pakoras were in tatters - not in propers balls/portions that can be served, but broken pieces which frankly were fit for the bin. My husband rang the shop to complain and the lady did say to come back to have them replaced- which she did do, but there wasn’t that much improvement and they tasted a day old at least if not more The mitai was dry and tasteless- a few of the guest left their pieces of besan- I was extremely embarrassed to say the least. The besan ladoo were pale insipid looking with no almonds or pistachios (which I’ve had from other establishments) - 1 out 10 at best. The whole experience was disappointing and embarrassing- especially as we had guests, it was not just for us. Reading the other reviews it’s clear the owners aren’t listening to their negative reviews which they have plenty of, which is a shame as they have had, and no doubt lost, loyal customers like ourselves who have been going there for years but will not be returning. Chahal sweet Centre one of the best place to eat delicious food. I love samosa and tangy sauce very much. Its really yummy. I love this place ,,staff is too friendly and helpful. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Samosa, Veg Samosa Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection
