We popped into the Park Gate Inn today as it's now under new management. I've got to say it's been great! We shared a Nachos starter which was a huge sharing bowl of tortilla chips loaded with cheese, guacamole, salsa, sour cream sauce and jalapenos. For mains I had Surf & Turf. 8oz steak of your choice with 5 pieces of scampi, chips, peas, onion rings, half a tomato and peppercorn sauce. Hubby had a Mega Mixed Grill. It was huge! Chicken breast, 8oz steak, 8oz gammon steak, 4 sausages, 2 eggs, grilled tomato, onion rings and peas. We couldn't fault a thing. Staff were great. Food and drinks are reasonably priced too! We would definitely recommend a visit Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mixed Grill, Chips, Steak, Onion Rings, Pint of Guinness, Peppercorn Sauce

Very impressed with everything at Park Gate the staff were very welcoming and friendly our meals were all lovely great value for money and well worth a visit

May served us and she was warm, friendly and attentive. There were 9 in our party and nothing was too much for her, it was my moms birthday and even checked if the chef would cook something from the weekly menu instead of the Sunday menu, and they accommodated!! Food was amazing for the cost and I would both return and recommend to friends and family.
Thanks for the lovely food and a great experience!
