Always the BEST!!! We had an issue and it was sorted straight away, no questions! Always friendly, great food and just the best in Bolton! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

I have ordered from the pavilion many times as well as eating in the restaurant in person. The last couple of times I have ordered little things have started going wrong but I let them slip, the wrong naan bread being sent out for example. This time some of the food was plain bad, the chips looked and tasted like yesterday’s and the scampi was cold and also missing its salad which it is stated as coming with on the website. When I phoned up to complain the person I spoke to was confrontational they told me that it doesn’t come with salad and that I was in fact wrong, they were adamant about it which I have to say really annoyed me. As you can see from the pictures I have included from both their own website and my receipt I did indeed order the fried scampi which is stated as coming with chips and salad. The manner in which my complaint was dealt with left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Eventually after speaking to more than 4 people I was offered a replacement scampi and chips but I declined the offer. Reading some of the other negative reviews here I feel justified in not feeling alone that this restaurant seems to have gone downhill recently We used to order fairly often from this restaurant and have enjoyed going in person on more than a few occasions but I do not think that I will bother again, I am going to put my money where my mouth is and take my business elsewhere. Establishment’s like this live and die upon their reputation. I have, in fact, recommended your restaurant to friends and family in the past which I will no longer be doing either. I hope that you take note of this review and up your standards when it comes to dealing with customers in the future. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
