First time trying Peking Chef. I’d seen mixed reviews online but I’m really satisfied with what I had. The prices are about average for the area. Food was lovely, well seasoned, not overly oily. Nice family run takeaway with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend :) Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5

Food is nice.
Only down side is they dont deliver. So for people who dont drive and have disabilities ordering from here a lot of people cant.

I used to go here nearly every week since a kid. At some point it changed hands and I noticed a slight difference in the food. Not enough to stop going. However, a check on the government hygiene site, an inspection in November in 2020 rated the restaurant a 1 in hygiene which is the lowest and a change from the ok 3 it has always been. This is unacceptable and I can’t bring myself to eat there anymore until this improves. Who knows what’s going on in that kitchen with that rating
