If you order food and they forget things.don’t bother asking for it to be refunded. They will refuse. Time and time again. They will just deliver the other items 2 hours later. Not impressed. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

It’s like no other Chinese I’ve ever had (and not in a good way!). Food was cold, couldn’t tell which dish was which. Minimal meat, all onion carrot and sauce. Prawn crackers were soft (I would say stale). Couldn’t eat it. Put it all in the bin and went out to buy another one from elsewhere. I’m sorry because the lady owner was very chatty and friendly. Food was not fit to even give any to the dog

Disappointing takeaway but lovely proprietor
We had a takeaway meal from this restaurant on Sunday 7th August. It turned out to be quite an interesting and amusing experience. On entering we found that two tables had been placed just inside the door to prevent an approach to the ordering desk.We were served by a delightfully cheerful Chinese who explained that this has been done after trouble with local youths. We paid by cash and a long pole with a box on the end was propelled towards us to put out money in.
My wife had a mixed veg curry with egg fried rice and I had the special chow mein
We ate it in the park by the river. Unfortunately My wife said that it was one of the worst vegetable currys that she had ever had and my chow mein was exceptionally dry. Such a shame after the fun of purchasing it.
Also the decor of the establishment is extremely dated and the whole place really needs a revamp and some loving care and attention.
