Wow. Peya blew me away! The restaurant its self is gorgeous and the food, cocktails, and service was outstanding. We ordered so much food I can’t go thru it all but the Cornish hen with butter sauce was 10/10! Definitely a place I’ll be back too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had such a lovely experience at Peya Indian French Restaurant The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was amazing. Their special Mother’s Day brunch was so good, and the Pet Elephant drink is definitely a must-try Highly recommend this place for a cozy dinner or special outing Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Peya for a nice dinner with high expectations, especially given the creative vegetarian options on the menu like the goat cheese and fig samosas and paneer ratatouille. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The Highlights: The ambiance is lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the night. We also appreciated that parking was easy to find. As for the food, the Burrata with sweet potato fondant and the Pineapple Raita were both delicious, and the Daal was great. Alls the food was plated really well and was appetizing to look at. The Disappointments: • Goat Cheese & Fig Samosas: This was the most jarring part of the meal. At a $17 price point, we were shocked that the samosas were served cooked in clearly rancid-smelling oil. It was so off-putting that it honestly clouded the rest of the dining experience. • Herbed Paneer Ratatouille: This dish missed the mark on several fronts. The menu promised a BBQ tomato sauce, but the plate lacked any discernible sauce or BBQ flavor. While the paneer itself was decent, the portion was noticeably smaller (a small triangle) than the full squares we’d seen in other diners photos. Most importantly, the entree was unseasoned—missing salt, which is a surprising oversight for a kitchen of this caliber. Verdict: While the staff and setting are great, the execution of the vegetarian entrees was poor. Between the oil quality issues and the lack of seasoning, I wouldn't recommend Peya for vegetarian dining until some significant changes are made in the kitchen. Price per person: CA$60–70 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: The execution of the vegetarian entrees was poor. Between the oil quality issues and the lack of seasoning, I wouldn't recommend Peya for vegetarian dining until some significant changes are made in the kitchen.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting what you enjoyed, especially the ambiance, service, Burrata, Pineapple Raita, and Daal. We’re sorry to hear that some dishes did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that our Fig & Goat Cheese Samosa is not fried in oil. It is baked using an infused butter, as part of our French interpretation of the classic samosa. Since Peya is a French-Indian concept and not a purely Indian restaurant, many of our dishes are intentionally designed to reflect this blend in both flavour and technique. The Herbed Paneer Ratatouille is also created in line with this concept, with the intention of delivering more balanced and layered flavours rather than bold, overpowering seasoning. We understand that this style may not suit every palate, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. A lot of thought and care has gone into curating this menu to reflect our vision, and feedback like yours helps us continue refining the guest experience. Thank you again for dining with us.
