so so many drinks. Yvie and Carly were amazing. They were round every 10 minutes at least asking us if we need anymore drinks on our bottomless brunch. Definitely recommend Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had such a lovely time at bottomless brunch! Carly was absolutely amazing—she was so friendly, welcoming, and made us feel really looked after from the moment we arrived. She was incredibly attentive and so quick at bringing over our drinks, making sure our glasses were never empty. Nothing was too much trouble, and she always had a smile on her face. Her great service really made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Carly—we’ll definitely be back! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I experienced racial discrimination on Saturday, 15th November. First, I want to say that the Philharmonic has long been one of my favourite bars in town, and I’ve visited regularly over the years. On that day, both a major rugby match and a popular boxing event were on, so the venue was completely packed (I mean shoulder-to-shoulder). Naturally, people were bumping into each other on the dance floor, which was entirely understandable given how busy it was. However, at one point a black man became aggressive toward me, shouting for me to give him more space. I didn’t appreciate the sudden hostility and I yelled back. Before I knew it, he put his hands on me and pushed me back several feet. This happened directly in front of the bouncer, who also happened to be black. What shocked me was that I was the only one removed from the venue, nothing happened to the black man who initiated the aggression and attacked me first. Being singled out based on racial grounds is not right, in fact it's despicable in this day and age. When I was outside the bar, I had asked to speak to the manager but got immediately dismissed by the staff and said that they were busy, so I had no way to file a complaint. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, so I will not be going to the establishment for a while. Service: 1
