What a gem! Driving round wondering what to have for tea & Google led us to Phillips Lane Chippy. Friendly owner & freshly cooked fish & chips. Best we've had in a long time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10

I've been coming here for 15-20 years. I always collect because the delivery drivers around here are a wee bit shoddy. They're really nice people and work hard. Their fish & chips the best in the area. Their menu is broad & tasty & I've not had a bad meal yet. Their portion sizes are far too large for two of us. Bear in mind they are always really busy and delivery depends on the availability of drivers so try to be kind!
