Stopped into Phoenix Diner today just before the lunch rush around 11:00 a.m. and had a great experience! The restaurant was clean, bright, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The service was friendly and prompt, and my food came out quickly. I ordered the Denver sandwich with hashbrowns, and it really hit the spot. The sandwich was delicious, and the hashbrowns were fresh and really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices. It cost about the same as grabbing fast food, if not less, but the quality was so much better. I highly recommend checking out Phoenix Diner if you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot. Service was great but the food unfortunately lacks luster. The appearance is not appetizing and it lacked flavour despite me drizzling it with salt, pepper, and ketchup to enhance the flavour. The tater tots could use more time in the fryer so it's nice and crispy. The coffee beans that they use is also sub par in my opinion. I LOVE this place, the music, the vibe, the location is always so perfect and peaceful. It’s my favourite thing to start my day here because the food is so tasty and the service is spectacular without fail EVERY TIME! I plan on making myself a regular :).
