First impressions where great , there was a band on at 5.30, which we where looking forword to seeing ,we ordered food which took ages to come. I ordered a fish pie , this did taste ok, but was not very hot , then I noticed raw grey prawns in the middle, which was also not cooked , it was freezing cold in the middle ! Took it back to to the bar and my partner told the barmaid who didnt seem at all bothered ,we then told 2 more young staff , and my partner went back in eventally , to find out what they where doing about it .Eventually i got another , which looked like it was same pie , there was hardley any fish ,the prawns had been taken out and more mash put on top ,minus the carrots and more peas , it had been nuked in a microwave, so uneatable this time( not that I felt like it after the first one )we then told another young member of staff to ask the management to come and see us , as i dernt eat the new pie, and was really worried I had food poisoning from eating an undercooked fish pie with raw prawns ! .waited 30 minutes and still no manager , eventually we left as we had also waited 25 mins in queue to get served , and it was quite clear no one was bothered at all , Tottaly unacceptable, bad stomach aches all the next day. Could have been so much worse !! Service: 1

poor disgusting behavior from we believe the owner. My daughter is autistic we chose your pub due to vegan options. First impressions lovely we ordered altogether 4 meals then eagerly awaited our food. We enquired over time as we have our meals divided and wanted to eat together. The owner came over and instead of apologising told us we had ordered at different times excusing us of lying. The general attitude towards my family was apauling. Was looking forward to tasting the food but left imediantly not reconmended.

It was a great experience staying at the Pirate Inn. Firstly the hosts were so warm and sweet. They really looked after us well and catered to all our requests promptly. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. It had all the amenities as well that you would normally need. The pub is so cozy and its a great vibe! Really enjoyed the food and drinks there! Highly recomend this Inn! Service: 5
