Visited at weekend while out on motorbike ride from glasgow - been maybe 10-15 years since I was last there but was always on my list to go back more often as this was an old haunt from late 80's early 90's when I used to work at BlackBull Hotel down the road (now long gone). The bar is just as great as I remember it but restaurant has been fully refurbished and is much much nicer than I remember. Fantastic menu in restaurant and a really nice place to stop. Planning on making it back more often now i've rediscovered it. Lady behind the bar was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend both the bar and restaurant and worth making the effort to find this warm, welcoming bar/restaurant in Balfron (Good pool table and great bike parking too!) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
