We found hair on the food halfway while eating we asked for the bill to pay and also made the server aware for what we found she didn’t bother to apologize neither say it to her higher ups, we proceeded with the payment and showed the hair to the chef’s too and again we didn’t even receive a sincere apology, would not go there again and won’t recommend as the chicken skewers was dry the service was not great and the hair on the food was the cherry on top Price per person: £60–70 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Bizarre and rude experience with the young Greek waitress cackling like one of the Stygian Witches on the edge of the Underworld after I responded in Greek to her greeting. I'm assuming it's because she's from Greece and my family are from Cyprus. I think she forgot that she's a waitress on minimum wage. It was so effective that I and a friend walked out and ended up having coffee and a delicious cake at another cafe. I've been going to Pitta Corner since it opened with family and a friend and the management have always been friendly. The food is good and they are generous. But it only takes one bad apple. When you work in hospitality, you are on the front line. People will judge the establishment by how the staff behave. And you know what they say? The customer is always right. They have the power to take their money and their custom elsewhere. POSTSCRIPT: The face saving reply from the diner with the virtue signalling hyperbole. It's a bit late to blow your trumpet when all it needed was common courtesy and respect. Screeching with laughter like a maniacal crone because you think you're better than someone else? Why would anyone call you to discuss anything after that? And another thing. I and my parents were coming to the establishment way before this ignorant waitress was there when it was a struggling Italian eaterie. So at least lie better. I doubt you really care. Don't worry. We are in a foreign country, each one from a different origin, when was there no separation based on origin, gender, sexuality, we should all be united because we are all human!
