This place has to be one of the the worst pizza places I’ve been to, in a long time let’s start of from when I walked in, wanting to order a pizza a staff member asked me if, I wanted to dine or have a take away I said yes to dinning, when my food was done it was brought to me in a take away box, when I’ve asked to dine in why would I need it in a takeaway box, strange when everyone in sight has a plate on their table dining in so I took the box to have it changed ,so I can have my plate (I know that this area is predominantly a residential area for white people, so they may not understand a black man asking for plates and cutlery ) would like to point out one person Beth (supervisor) she the only reason why the service on my review went from 1 to 2 stars because she changed the take away box to the plate oh yes finally food, bland and boring it was missing something, just originality but u call ur self a project so i do understand things are still developing I even ordered ice cream to try boost the rating a little but sadly they forgot about that I ordered it (had to remind them) so for that made the Pizza Project Merstham a 1 star on a good day but has potential will definitely visit in the future to see if things have changed for my next review Your sincerely: MR Hall Food critique/customer satisfactory legislator Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I've been really keen to try this restaurant for a while now but still haven't been able to. The first time I tried, we found their opening hours on Google and their website were incorrect so it wasn't open. The second time, I called ahead to ensure they were open that day (as their latest Instagram post with opening hours suggested they would be open at 12pm). No one answered the phone but as I was keen to try the restaurant, I headed down there. Unfortunately, we were told upon entering that due to staff illness (which is understandably unavoidable sometimes) they wouldn't be serving food. However, I felt like they could have at least put it on their social media or website at the start of the day to avoid keen customers wasting their time travelling there, only to be disappointed! We headed to Monte Forte in Reigate instead which has never disappointed. Hopefully one day I will eventually get to eat one of their pizzas!
