The food was absolutely lovely, nicely presented and very tasty. The service from Narmeen and team was very pleasant and friendly. We really enjoyed our meal, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with good decor and lighting for a relaxed meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food and atmosphere were good and nothing to complain, but the lady staff who was attending to customers at around 8 pm on sunday (3rd May) was very rude and felt she was discriminating between native britishers and others as it was evident how she treated us were how she was treating the others who were attending who were non Asians. This attitude should change else it does not feel like going back again to this place Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Disappointing Experience at PizzaExpress Maidenhead We visited PizzaExpress Maidenhead today, really looking forward to a nice meal out. We ordered a Giardiniera Romana and asked if we could have extra tuna and extra anchovies, but only on half of the pizza. We were fully prepared to pay the full price for both extra toppings, but were told this “wasn’t allowed” because it would “break the rules.” It turned into one of those classic “computer says no” moments — no flexibility and no willingness to think outside the box. The manager, Mitchell, said it would mean “breaking the rules,” which tells me staff have very little freedom to make a customer happy, even when the request is perfectly reasonable. We decided not to eat there and left before ordering anything else, as we couldn’t get the pizza the way we wanted — despite being ready to pay extra. What’s most disappointing is that we’ve been going to this Maidenhead PizzaExpress ever since it first opened and have never had any issues before. This was the first time we’ve left feeling genuinely let down. We ended up booking a table at PizzaExpress Marlow instead, and the experience there was absolutely lovely — friendly, accommodating, and everything you’d expect from the brand. Once again, it just proves that it’s people who make an organisation, and the right attitude makes all the difference. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
