We originally headed out for a Nando’s, but after being told there was a 45-minute wait, we decided to try our luck at PizzaExpress. Even though it looked packed inside, we figured "if you don't ask, you don't get!" We were met at the front desk by Sophie, who was incredibly helpful. Despite us not having a reservation on a busy Saturday, she explained they didn't have a table immediately but could have one ready in about 5-10 minutes. We decided to wait, and true to her word, we were seated in just over five minutes at a lovely table overlooking the gardens. The service was prompt, and our drinks arrived quickly before we moved on to the food. We started with the Sharing Trio, and what a great decision that was. The dough balls literally melted in your mouth with that soft garlic butter, and the chicken goujons were perfectly crispy with the pizzanaise sauce. The standout for me, though, was the golden mozzarella sticks. They were the perfect temperature and so soft and gooey inside that I honestly felt like a kid again. For our mains, the quality continued to impress. The lasagne was rich with a perfect creamy finish, and the Calabrian Feast pizza was a total win. The base was exactly how it should be—nice, thin, and slightly crispy, which is such a massive improvement over the soggy bases you often get from places like Domino’s. The spicy kick from the toppings paired with the sweet hot honey was delicious. We decided to go all out and finish with the tiramisu, which was to die for; it had a harmonious balance of airy mascarpone and bold, espresso-soaked sponge. Overall, it was an amazing experience with a great ambience. I’m so happy we ended up here, as we weren't expecting to have such a fantastic night. A huge thank you to Sophie for fitting us in! Best pizza place around! I was served fairly quickly by Kaitlin who was very polite and friendly and made me feel so welcome. She knew the menu inside out and was really helpful in helping me decide what pizza to try. The food was so fresh and delicious. I would 100% recommend and will be back for more Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So 4 roku temu na Restaurant Guru

Poor service very slow and got both our orders wrong but then little acknowledgement or apology .. quick to take the payment but nothing to apologise for the mess up … real shame as never had issues with pizza express before but this Solihull branch is shocking..
