We live in Teignmouth. We have traveled to Tynemouth after watching Exeter Chiefs last night against Newcastle Red Bulls. The spotlessly clean Metro has brought us here and landed us in the middle of a splendid Sunday market and on the platform this charming pub. Red brick walls and an uncluttered feel this craft beer venue is stunning in every way with pictures and memorabilia of the areas historic past , wonderful staff and excellent beer. Oh, and the cleanest and smartest toilets you could imagine Despite the crowds outside in the market place Platform 2 seemed to be timeless and peaceful …….a gem of perfection. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
