I’d like to give a special shoutout to Steven from Playwright. This wasn’t my first visit to this beautifully decorated restaurant, but last weekend made it even more memorable. It was my daughter’s Grad Ball day, and due to the rain, the photo session was moved from the Legislature grounds to the Citadel Theatre. While the graduates and parents were waiting and looking for a place to pass the time, Steven generously opened his doors to us. He welcomed the girls into the restaurant for a quick photoshoot, offered them water, and even surprised them with complimentary cake. We ended up staying for a quick bite, but it was the kindness, hospitality, and generosity that truly stood out. The experience went far beyond what we expected and helped make an already special day even more memorable. If you haven’t visited Playwright yet, I highly recommend it. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and people who genuinely care about their guests. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Steven was amazing, came here for my daughter's grad, and the entire staff was amazing, but Steven stood out as particularly great. Made an amazing day even better. The food and drinks were great too. I highly recommend for a special event, or just a quick visit on when you're Downtown.
