Not what we expected. Carvery has been suspended, table service for Sunday lunch now. Booked but they had no record of booking, waited for table, asked after 10 mins if we were ready to order despite not having been given menus. After another 5 mins said we wanted the roast dinner, waited 45 mins for food, adult portions arrived with some veg (no spoon) after another 5 mins had passed we asked where the kids meals, sauces, gravy and rest of veg were (during this time were asked how the food was, at this point hadn't eaten any of it as we were still waiting for most of it to arrive), got a tiny pot of sauce between 5 of us. Pork had a big layer of unrendered fat on it so hardly any meat. Meat was tough and chewy. After we started eating they never checked again if we were happy. Won't be going again. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: £10–20

We love love love, the Plough Inn. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they have made sure that covid19 measures are in place, making our lock down experience safe! We well and truly missed not being at our local but so happy they are back open!!!
