Attended a birthday party in the beer garden, and what a lovely, relaxing atmosphere at this sweet little pub! Drinks are decent price too And a beautiful boxer dog wanders around charming everyone too

Arrived at the Poachers Inn after a busy day with the dogs, drove in to the carpark to then nearly run over the loose dogs running around (and under!) my truck with no owner present. The dogs then proceeded to jump up at my truck, scratching it in the process and making it impossible to get our own dogs out of the truck. We then asked who the dogs belonged to, to find out they were in fact one of the barmaids dogs. We asked politely if she could call her dogs back with her so we could get our dogs out of the truck and enjoy some food and a drink, at which point she looked at us like we had both shat on her shoes. She made a feeble attempt at calling one dogs name, which proved futile. The dogs continued to jump up at the truck, so we decided to leave instead. Very disappointing customer service for what looked like such a lovely pub. Won't be visiting again.
