Have been going to the Poldark Inn for over 40 years and have never had a bad word, it’s always been a great place and staff have always been so friendly. Been in today for a meal, superb food as ever but the pint of Guinness was off, father and son behind the bar who I’ve never seen before told me it was a new barrel and pipes have been cleaned and dismissed my complaint, absolutely disgraceful I’ve been drinking Guinness longer than they’ve been alive. Massively disappointed and dealt with so poorly, pint returned with no refund, no replacement and no apology.

We had a great stay at The Poldark Inn. First off the location is brilliant to base yourself so you can visit all over Cornwall. The Food is very good considering it is a limited Dinner Menu. The Breakfast choices are varied. However we pretty much had alterations of a Full English for the 6 days we were here and it was delicious using locally sourced products. The Drinks on offer Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic were perfect showcasing Local Drinks. Also the price we paid for our entire stay is well worth the money. In fact we thought it should be a little more, but that is just us. A special shout out to Adrian, Tracey, Ryan and the Team who made the Holiday so worthwhile. Absolute gem of a place which is Old fashioned, but that is no bad thing at all. Very highly recommended for a visit.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time ! Outstanding home cooked fresh food . Staff were lovely and friendly and if in this area again I will be back !
