The food here was absolutely unreal—every single dish was incredibly tasty! We came for a date night and had such a lovely experience. We pre-ordered the Korean barbecue ribs, and they were cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender it was literally falling off the bone, and the flavour was absolutely divine. We also ordered the Cuban sandwich, the So Meaty! pizza, some fresh bread and a tiramisu. Everything was beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and clearly made with care. To drink, we had two Crunchie milkshakes, and they were honestly out of this world—rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. Discovered Pop Kitchen on Google when searching "Best pizza in Exeter". I got takeaway. The girl who served me was very professional, polite and welcoming. I'd never been before and she helped explain the menu. I got the half & half pizza. Both half's of the pizza were very tasty. I especially liked the crispy cheese on the crust. Quality produce. I like that it was deep dish, you literally can't get a proper deep dish... anywhere! I was able to edit my pizza with no fuss and no extra cost. The sauces were incredible. We got the mascrapone, mojo and garlic dips. Im pretty sure the mojo dip was on the house, thanks for that! It was my Mrs's favourite. We got the frazzled macaroni, we we're pretty stuffed by the time we got to the pasta dish. The pizza didn't look massive, but it did fill two people. Mrs wasn't too impressed, I don't think she liked the actual frazzles on top, which I wasn't expecting either. I did like it, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I'd be keen on trying the Korean macaroni. I bought 2 cans of beer, although good and cold, it was over £6 for a 330ml can, a bit steep. I paid over £50 for a pizza, a dish of pasta, a dip and 2 beers. Would I buy the pizza again? Yes. Would I buy the pasta again? Maybe. Would I buy the sauce again? Definitely. Would I buy the beer again? Nah. Giving 5/5 because it was a good experience and the food was very tasty. Service was excellent too. They even let me taste the sauces before buying. What a credit to the Princesshay area, Luke and the rest of the team are amazing at what they do, great customer service and a delicious menu. Whether we pop in for a coffee or a meal, we are always greeted with kindness. Great gluten free options for coeliacs, as well. We hope it thrives for many years to come!
