This chippy has really gone downhill. Last time I was there, large haddock and large chips for 2 was £32, so it’s not cheap. The fish was thin and very fishy smelling and the chips were cold. This time we opted for pies, 2 beef and 2 chicken and mushroom; just over £22. Phoned the order on their automated system. Took three goes and when I got there, no order received. No apology and had to wait nearly 20 minutes for it to be prepared. Chicken pies were ok. One beef pie was ok, the other was very dry and seemed like it was a reheated offering. Chips were gross. Hard in the middle, undercooked and almost cold. The fat was rank. Tasted awful and I’d say they’re not changing the dripping regularly and the cooking temp for the chips is too low. I’m local. I won’t be going again. Don’t find the staff very welcoming or friendly.

Thanks to Anglesey Social Media's recommendation on Facebook and Twitter, I had whitebait with tartare sauce and chips from Port Chippy, Amlwch. The quality were just as good as a restaurant, so this is another chippy I recommend for visitors.
