We chose portals for our wedding reception venue, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Michelle set up the restaurant beautifully, answered all of my emails in a timely manner and made sure the day went as best as it could. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, we can't thank them enough. Now the food... We had an amazing three course wedding breakfast, I have had nothing but compliments about the food, how it was all brought out in good time, and tasted amazing and I couldn't agree more. The food here is always amazing, but on the day it was out of this world! I thought I would be too full to enjoy the evening buffet but I couldn't resist, pizzas, parmo bites, pasta dishes, chicken goujons- The list goes on. Also all allergies and diet requirements were taken very seriously and all of our guests had the best time. My sister had her wedding reception and evening party at Portals and what can we say... it was amazing. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. They brought out food in good time considering they were serving the full restaurant at the same time. The staff turned around the room for the evening event in good time and ensured that all table decorations were used and saved. The evening buffet was great with tasty treats like parmo bites and excellent selection for dietary requirements. The staff were so positive and helpful throughout the day and served drinks at 2 bars. Michelle was there to help my mum deliver the cake early that morning and set up the whole restaurant beautifully just as requested. Nothing for the event was too much to ask for and it was perfect. Thank you Michelle and all of the amazing staff at Portals for making my sister and brother in law's wedding perfect.
