Went there with friends last night. You step off of the streets of Dunlevy and into a cool industrial environment; the front door is amazing! The unfortunate part about the indoor environment is that the tables are too close together, and it can get quite loud.

I had the Goods from the flight menu of wines. It was a tasting of 5 wines from white to red. The Vancouver Urban Winery Pinot Gris is really nice; not too dry and quite drinkable. However, though the other wines were nice, I’ve tasted better with a $12 bottle.

For food I tasted the Grilled Cheese with Guyere and tomato soup; which was nicely seasoned. The combo wast really good, and the grilled cheese was not overpowering. I also tasted the gnocchi with lamb ragu. The gnocchi was not overly starchy as I have tasted at other restaurants. However though the Lam was cooked to perfection, there was not as much lamb ratio to sauce. I also tasted the coppa Conan’s pizzette. The pizza was flavoured well with a good combination of toppings, unfortunately there was too much pizza sauce to toppings.

I would go back for a second try, however the price is a little much for what I tasted. It could have been an off night.

Always down to check out a brewery that I haven’t been to. B wanted to try Postmark Brewing so we hit them up after brunch on a lazy Monday afternoon. Located inside the Settlement Building, it also houses Vancouver Urban Winery and The Belgard Kitchen. It wasn’t busy at all when we went but that’s because it was 3:00pm. Perfect time as happy hour had just started (Monday to Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00pm).
