My Canadian bestie and I were visiting London to celebrate her birthday and to enjoy Borough Market. We couldn't have picked a better venue as a base. The location is spot on as its almost in the middle of the market. Its also really close to interesting places to walk to to visit like The Shard,Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral. Also it close to all off the fantastic food on offer in the market. It's situated close to the bank of the Thames which was great if you want to sit and have a meal and a drink after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are basic but clean and there's lifts for everyone whatever accessibility needs you have. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel but you would never know as it was so quiet. There was music and an ice cream van outside but you couldn't hear any of that. The staff were 1st class. The two guys on the front were so friendly and helpful! They answered our questions, had great conversations with us and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was welcoming and comfortable. They were amazing thank you. If you want an affordable base with great service from the staff in a popular area, I highly recommend staying here.

No complaints at all about the Premier Inn itself but be warned that if you are visiting soon (late April 2026), there is currently a building site next to the hotel and during my visit they were pile driving until 9.30pm. It was very noisy and my bed on the 3rd floor was shaking. Work started again at 7am.
