This place has been a complete surprise. The Italian food is great and the service is excellent. If I could add anything, it would be the music... the volume was a bit high and not in keeping with the restaurant. But that's just a suggestion for improvement; otherwise, everything was excellent, especially the service. We celebrated my mum’s 70th birthday at Prezzo Rugby with a party of 35, and it couldn’t have gone better. We were given a private area upstairs, which created the perfect space for everyone to mingle and relax. Milo was an outstanding host throughout the entire evening. He handled the staggered arrival times effortlessly, making sure every guest had a drink in hand. Once we were seated, he managed the food orders brilliantly, and I really appreciated that he prioritised the children’s meals without being asked. The food was served quickly, the drinks kept flowing, and the whole evening ran seamlessly. The service genuinely felt 5‑star. My mum celebrated both her 60th and now her 70th at Prezzo Rugby, and after this experience, we certainly won’t be waiting another decade to return. Milo truly made the night what it was — faultless from start to finish. Thank you, Prezzo Rugby. The service was lovely and attentive. Unfortunately the chefs forgot how to cook. As a time served veteran RN chef, what went wrong was not a difficult fix even for a junior chef. My chicken carbonara was truly awful. Pre cooked pasta( which is fine) but make sure the cold pasta is not stuck together in a lump before the Al forno stage ( oven). The green salad was a very small part of a wilted bag of leaves. We sent back the broccoli because it was Luke warm at best. To say we should of stuck with the 1st offering. The duty manager brought out a replacement which was fridge cold. I think the use of a temperature probe prior to leaving the kitchen is maybe a way forward. My wife and I came back to try the new prezzo Italian for our anniversary. Unfortunately it is much the same as the old prezzo. Great if you just need fuel to get you through the nothing in the home fridge stage. But not for a top notch meal, it is still a chain as before. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £50–60
