It's a nice coffee shop with good coffee, but when I was last in there was a group with a dog that kept emitting a very loud and sharp bark, and the staff didn't do anything about it.

We visited for breakfast on a Saturday and struggled to get a seat, we were lucky someone was leaving so sat down. Staff didn’t come and clear the table for us and we sat there for a while trying to get staffs attention to clear the table, they cleaned another table before ours, it didn’t seem as efficient. Cafe atmosphere was great and buzzing. I had a bacon roll and the roll was expensive for only 2 small bits of bacon. Juice was nice! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Not sure

Distinctly average, sloppily prepared coffee, served by increasingly arrogant staff who feel entitled to demand a tip ... then fail to serve your coffee as very politely requested. Artisan Roast, by comparison, serve delicious coffee that is carefully prepared and served by warm and welcoming staff ... without exception and without demanding a tip.
