This place has gone downhill. We ordered 7 dishes - enough for four people we thought - and when we got them home discovered the portions were patheticly small. All were left hungry, despite having spent around £50. A shame because this place used to be decent. Avoid until they up their game. Food: 2 Service: 1 Price per person: £40–50

The Red Lantern Chepstow served us an array of delicious tasty food last night with lovely attentive super friendly service. We chose one of the set meal menus with add ons which is great so you could all taste a bit of everything or choose from the extensive menu available. We haven’t been here for a while but will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in
