This pub has improved hugely since a previous visit just over a year ago. Its now has new management and thankfully no green kings beers. Now has a great range of cask ales. A lovely little proper friendly pub, clean and friendly welcoming little gem. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Booked a table for 2 with our dog . Friendly greeting when we arrived, shown to our table and our dog was given a pat and a bowl of water which was much appreciated. Ordered two lamb sunday dinners and they were so delicious . Sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry shortbread for desserts and both were amazing . So 10/10 great food , great service and a warm , friendly atmosphere x. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
