I recently visited Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews and had a pretty mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was actually really good. The burgers were delicious and definitely hit the spot. The restaurant itself was decent, and the bathrooms were somewhat clean, which is always appreciated. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. It took quite a while for our server to come take our drink order, and then again we waited longer than expected to place our food order. Throughout the meal, our waitress was mostly absent, it was hard to find her anytime we needed something. The end of the visit was especially frustrating. We waited quite a while for our bill, and when I asked for my niece's cookie to go, we had to remind her. She said she’d grab it right away, but after another five minutes with no sign of it, we ended up getting up to leave. Only then did she stop what she was doing at the bar and go get the cookie from the kitchen. For a meal that cost around $100 for two adults and one child, I expect better service. I don’t mind paying $25 for a burger when it tastes that good, but the service needs to match the price. Overall, great food, but disappointing service.
