We originally planned to visit 042 Afro Lounge because I had ordered from them in the past via Uber Eats and truly loved the meal. When we called ahead, however, they kindly informed us that it is an 18+ lounge. The owner was gracious enough to direct us to this family-friendly location instead, and we are so glad they did! The food was absolutely fantastic—I ordered the goat meat ogbono soup with pounded yam, which was rich and flavorful, while the kids enjoyed the jollof rice with jerk chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and lovely, making it a great environment for a family meal. The kids had a fantastic time, and the service was top-notch. Truly a wonderful experience—we will definitely be coming back!
