We were lucky enough to visit and experience the private dining experience. It was pure indulgence. The team had everything covered from the minute we arrived. The food was delicious and certainly the best I’ve ever had, I just wish I had the words to do it justice! I can’t think the team enough as it was an incredible experience I shall never forget. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

It was my wife’s birthday and she has some dietary requirements. Her favourite fish is Sole. I booked in for the seasonal midweek menu and put this information on the reservation. The team emailed me to confirm all received and were looking forward to seeing us. On the night it was amazing, the welcome from Gihza was warm and humorous. The food was wonderful. The sole was divine. Perfectly cooked Su-vid, served on vegetables elegant and classic. The evening was finished off chatting to Jan and his wife. Looking forward to our next visit. I can’t recommend Roots enough. The whole Team make your visit special. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Dietary restrictions: They followed the restrictions perfectly!!

We visited Restaurant Roots for the first time last week to celebrate a birthday. To say it was incredible is an understatement. We're both veggie and had the mid-week vegetarian tasting menu. The food was so delicious and inventive, we'd recommend it to anyone - veggie or not. The wine-flight also paired really well. The service was excellent. Geza and Jan made us feel very welcome, and as we were the only diners that evening we were able to have some great conversations with them that made it feel even more special. We left feeling full, with a little gift bag containing panattone and coffee. Such a great experience, we can't wait to go back and share it with our friends and family.
