As this was a private event , the menu was selected by the host rather than by the restaurant. However had you mentioned your concern to our staff during the event, we would have been more than happy to prepare an alternative. Our priority is always to ensure that every guest enjoys their dining experience. Regarding the music, we would like to clarify that River Restaurant is the venue for private events, while the music, entertainment and sound levels are entirely managed by the event organizers and their chosen band or Dj. As such, this is unfortunately outside of the restaurant control. We Therefore believe that this part of your review has been directed to the wrong party, as it does not reflect the service provided by the restaurant itself. We would also like to address yourComment about our prices as we attended a private event, guests were not charged individually by the restaurant, our pricing is not shared with invited guests. For this reason, we are unsure what information your statement is based on. Our event packages are competitively priced and in line with the current .We also noticed that the photographs attached to your review do not represent the restaurant as it is today.The plates shown has not been used at River Restaurant for several years, so the images do not accurately reflect our current presentation or standard.Finally, thank you for acknowledging the quality of our service and the professionalism of our staff.
