INVITED REVIEW Not every restaurant launch manages to get the balance right between great food, atmosphere, and service, but Robatary absolutely nailed it. From the moment we arrived, the evening felt like a proper summer launch event. We were welcomed with arrival drinks, enjoyed live music from a talented singer, and were impressed by the stylish, modern setting. The atmosphere was vibrant without feeling overwhelming, creating the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the evening. A special mention has to go to Beth, who looked after us throughout the night. Her friendly, attentive service really enhanced the experience and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Now onto the food. The Korean fried chicken was packed with flavour and had a fantastic crispy coating, while the salt and pepper ribs were incredibly tender, meaty, and easily one of the standout dishes of the evening. The Roba Burger was an absolute beast and definitely delivers if you’re looking for something hearty and satisfying. We also tried the rolled bavette steak, which was cooked perfectly pink, exactly how we like it. Personally, we would have loved a little more char and seasoning, but there was no faulting the quality of the cook. For dessert, we enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. Both were delicious, although the cheesecake was our favourite. We weren’t completely convinced by the foamy topping, and a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream would have elevated both desserts even further. Overall, this was one of those rare evenings where the experience was just as memorable as the food itself. Fantastic service, a brilliant atmosphere, and a venue that’s absolutely worth visiting.
