I had to displeasure of staying in the manor and I found it very unfriendly very very unfriendly. I was with Mr Rich fellows and the Bretford could’ve been cooked on a plate at the plate was so hot I’ve been indication trade all my life. I’ve now retired and I was doing a bucket thing. I found very rude. I asked him for simple directions and a ectomy five minutes 5 miles down the road which they said would take five minutes and they knew I had a bad heart. These people were not friendly at the food was not good and the service was absolutely terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone at all as for the reply to Mr fellows about smokers shrunk back out the Window I would strongly dispute that and if they can prove that well they should if not you know I should take legal action thank you Mr. Woods right now.

We read a lot of the reviews but decided to try and are glad we did. Was not the most welcoming arrival but room was large and nicely decorated. They do ask for the keys not unusual at some hotels, but the place is very secure. There is not much around. If you are visiting Stonehenge this is great location. Dinner was excellent. Great flavor and nice portions reasonable prices. Loved dessert as well. Overall we had a great time and the owner was very pleasant at dinner and beyond. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
