Our first visit to Roost and it definitely won’t be our last Absolutely delicious food in such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, the desserts were incredible, and the gluten-free menu were an absolute game changer ️ It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything right — amazing food, lovely ambience, and a menu that genuinely caters for everyone. Already looking forward to coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had the “owners breakfast” with add-on chorizo, and 2 coffees. Coffee was ok, but the food was 10/10. Next time I’d get extra bacon instead of chorizo, their bacon was incredible. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Perran rates pastries: Roost Godalming Coffee: 4/5 - Great foam and great tasting coffee. Nothing special but would definitely go back again to try more! Pastry: 5/5 - There were some nerves about the carrot cake due to the price and hoping it would be good but it really did not disappoint. Best carrot cake I’ve had in a very long time. The new standard of carrot cake. It was moist, flavoursome and a great portion! Spennyness: 4/5 - £2.50 for an espresso which is good for British prices and £3.30 for a flat white which isn’t awful but the carrot cake was £4 and it was really good so you didn’t mind too much but it isn’t cheap! Overall I’d definitely go back. All the staff were happy, accommodating and friendly! Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
