Ropes Bistro, first can I say lovely looking venue, glass conservatory is perfect on the blue sky day we visited, large sliding windows, stone floors, view across the bay is wonderful, a great spot to have the Bistro. Food was delicious and enough that we didnt have enough room to enjoy one of the many cakes on display on the way in. The prices are very reasonable considering the view they have, and how the owners have presented the venue, which is very nice. Constantly busy, I would say buzzing with different types and age groups, with people on their own reading a book and having lite lunch to Groups of friends meeting and enjoying a glass of wine or beer with lunch. Only downside was the disarray of service, it took a while for an order to be taken and we were not alone in that respect, then more than once we were asked by staff if we had ordered what they were carrying like there was a breakdown of which table it was destined for. That was the only smite on a great venue. Would I go back, absolutely, nice place to relax and take in the views, just don't be in a hurry. Visited Ropes at the weekend. Soup and sandwich were delicious and very reasonable priced. The view over Maidens beach was fantastic. I also enjoyed a cocktail I really enjoyed.
