If you are visiting Liverpool, Rough Handmade is a bakery that should not be missed. The quality of the pastries is outstanding, and you can immediately tell that everything is freshly baked. The open bakery lets you see the ovens behind the counter, with fresh pastries coming straight out, which adds to the whole experience and gives you complete confidence in the freshness of everything they serve. The bakery is clearly very popular, so it has a lively atmosphere with a constant flow of customers coming and going. The seating area is quite limited, which is understandable given the space, but having a few more tables would make it even more enjoyable for those who want to sit down and savour their coffee and pastries. The selection is excellent, with plenty of sweet and savoury options to choose from. Everything looked so good that it was difficult to decide what to order. The coffee was also very good and paired perfectly with the pastries. This is one of those places that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you are looking for breakfast, a quick snack, or something sweet during your walk around the Royal Albert Dock, Rough Handmade is an excellent choice.
