We stopped in while waiting for a table in one of the nearby restaurants and we're glad we did! The cocktails were delicious, maybe the best I've ever had. We were sad to leave when our reservation time came. We'll definitely be back to work through more of the menu. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Rum Rabbit Rum in Sale on a Saturday evening as it looked like a great spot for cocktails. It’s a small, cosy tiki-style bar, so we were glad to grab a couple of seats when we could. The cocktail menu is extensive, with lots of interesting options, and priced around what you’d expect (£10–£11 for most drinks). I started with the Rabbit Rum Punch, which was really enjoyable well balanced and full of flavour. I then tried a Zombie, which looked great presentation-wise (and definitely drew attention, people were asking what it was), but flavour-wise it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It had a slightly bitter aftertaste and felt like it was missing something compared to other Zombies I’ve had. My friend had a Mai Tai, which was nice but not particularly standout, and I finished with a Vimto-style cocktail, which had a nice texture and was enjoyable enough. The bartenders all seemed passionate and clearly take pride in what they do, which came across well. Later in the evening the atmosphere became a bit mixed. There were a few situations outside that felt a little uncomfortable, including groups hanging around and some younger children being left waiting outside while adults stayed inside drinking. It’s not something you’d usually expect to see, especially later in the evening, and it did take away slightly from what had otherwise been a relaxed visit. Overall, I liked the concept and there are some good cocktails here, I’d be happy to return, perhaps at a quieter time / during the day.
