Enjoyed our evening and food. Young male waiter very helpful. Manageress not so much, a little off hand - we asked to box a dish and she simply brought a box over for us to do it ourselves. Luckily the young waiter obliged and took the dish back to the kitchen and did it. This was the same woman we saw eating an ice cream in the kitchen. Not a good look. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Best place to eat out in Totnes, I'm a regular and I've never had a bad experience at Rumour before. The food is amazing, the service high quality and their staff is super helpful and friendly. Peppa and Gracie always makes sure both the regulars and the walk-ins are all welcome and well taken care of. Worth booking in advance as it is a popular place, for a good reason Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
