Small pub, very limited seating. Offers food which isn't great for size of venue. Drinks are expensive and staff were either bored or fantastic. We reviewed on 2 separate occasions to give it the benefit of the doubt. Sadly needs to be an ale pub or close as it doesn't work as a family friendly establishment. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Absolutely love this pub! It is a very friendly place with comfortable seats and a congenial atmosphere. They do Quiz Night on a Tuesday, Meat Raffle on a Friday and have 'live' music some weekends. The landlady, Carolyn, makes a point of talking to everyone in the pub and shows a genuine interest in her customers. I would highly recommend seeking out The Running Stream and would give 10 stars if it were possible.

It is a fabulous room that makes you feel welcome and gives a feeling of belonging just by walking through the door. In my view, a pub is a place of belonging, letting down your hair, being yourself and getting rid of the days frustrations, with or without friends. We look forward to seeing a lot more of you.
