Easily one of the best restaurants in Ottawa, we got a dish called Fahsa with the bread Mlawah and it was so good!!! The bread was fresh and hot, the meat was so tender and the whole experience was amazing as the food came fast and employees were super friendly, also surprisingly the prices were really good compared to the quality and quantity Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30

We had both Mandi Lamb and Haneeth Lamb, and 1/4 Haneeth Chicken as well as some fries and cucumber yogurt. The portion size for all the items were far beyond our expectations. The quality of the food was top notch! And we felt so welcoming by the member of the staff, who was very respectful, friendly, and amazingly quick to serve us. When I tried to add some tips to the bill, he politely said-with a smile in his face- "Maybe next time!" I highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered the whole chicken mandi at Saba Palace and while the price and service were excellent, the overall flavor unfortunately didn’t meet expectations. The portion size was generous and staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, both the rice and the chicken lacked the rich spices and depth of flavor that typically make mandi so enjoyable. It felt a bit bland, which ultimately took away from what could have been a great meal. With a bit more seasoning and authenticity in the spices, it would easily be a top spot.
