My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks in the UK and of all the places we dined, Sofia’s was, hands down, our favorite restaurant—so much so that we ate there three times! The food is authentic, beautifully presented, and absolutely divine. Among the items we savored were the tabbouleh, hommus Sofia’s, Daoud Basha, Shish Tawouk, Mediterranean roasted lamb, the sea bass, baklawa, and the sticky toffee pudding. I wish I had the chefs’ names so that I could give them each a personal shout-out here on google. The service we received from Sofia’s wait staff completed the wonderful dining experience. Everyone we interacted with was first-rate and so welcoming. Sassy, witty, Hiba is the consummate salesperson who helped us navigate the menu and provided recommendations. Prepare to be amused if Hiba comes your way. Sweet Marimar is a very attentive server, and as we say here in South Carolina, absolutely precious. She is so dear and was a delight to chat with. While we were there, Souraya was efficiently working behind the bar organizing flatware and keeping operations running. And last, but by no means least, I must mention the personable, soft-spoken Mouad who regaled us with descriptions of food from his home country of Morocco. Obviously I can’t say enough superlatives about this restaurant. Bottom line is give it a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Personal side note: Hello to all at Sofia’s from South Carolina! We ordered through Uber eats. Food arrived in a timely manner very well packed. Food was fantastic! I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food throughout the world. Sofia's lounge is on my top 5. Great food. Food: 5 Service: 5
