STEPS used to be one of my absolutely favourite places to grab lunch in Sheffield, so I was very excited to see that it was reopening, but unfortunately the new menu is nothing like the old one. They used to have a huge range of options that were very different to anything you could get elsewhere, and never failed to be delicious, whereas now the menu looks more like a budget McDonalds and the food itself is very average. Really hope they take some inspiration from the old menu and bring back some of what used to make this place worth going out of my way for, otherwise there's not really much reason to come here when the area has lots of more interesting options. Walked past and menu caught our eyes, really cheap ! Loaded donner fries for £2.50! I had the chicken steak burger meal and my partner had the half pounder meal all for £10.42! And it was lovely! Staff are really friendly too. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
