Safeway Prince Rupert is an excellent grocery store and a great stop for both locals and visitors. The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide selection of fresh produce, quality meats, bakery items, snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist when needed. For cruise ship passengers visiting Prince Rupert, Safeway is especially convenient. It's a perfect place to pick up local snacks, fresh food, drinks, travel essentials, or anything you may have forgotten before continuing your journey. The selection is impressive for a community of this size, with plenty of choices for different tastes, dietary needs, and budgets. The bakery, deli, and ready-to-eat meal options are excellent for visitors looking for a quick lunch while exploring the city. With competitive prices, quality products, and great customer service, Safeway Prince Rupert is a reliable and welcoming shopping destination. Highly recommended for both residents and cruise ship guests visiting Prince Rupert!

This Safeway is not nice to Americans. Stopped at the store to get something to drink while off the cruise, the cashier was extremely rude, refused to allow me to use my club card, laughed and rolled her eyes at me and refused to get the manager.
