Not sure why people give this place a bad rep. It was really good Ordered 2x buttered chicken and some rice. Didn't take long only 10 minutes. And of course the food was brilliant, tender chicken and great sauce. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Saffron used to be my favourite Indian in Deal, but it has been slowly deteriorating over the last few visits and unfortunately the standard and quality of food is now just so poor. Lukewarm food and missing items on every order... One of the only Indian takeaways I know that doesn't do free poppadoms so ordered them on the most recent occasion, and they weren't included (the visit previous, it was Saag Aloo missing). On the most recent occasion, the lamb dish had so little meat I may as well have just ordered the sauce. The chicken dish was very watery and not enjoyable. Previously, I was happy to accept that Saffron cost a little more than others as the quality reflected the price. Now, it is just the price tag that stands out and it's a shame to see such previously high standards slip so far. Unfortunately, despite giving it a few chances, I won't be ordering again. Food: 1 Price per person: £20–30
