Have been visiting Saffron Kitchen for many years for all sorts of occasions. The consistency is what makes this place such a delightful place to eat out at. The staff are friendly and attentive as always, the service is always on point and what you would expect for a place like this. The decor is also right for the place, they have a side annex and private rooms for bookings or large groups at the back. The bathrooms are always clean. When it comes to the food, well if are looking for consistent good food over the years, well this is your go to place. The food is rich and tasty. The chaat platter is the best way to get your taste buds ready for a hearty meal, just desi at the core and traditional but so tasty. My absolute favourite is the chicken nambali with masla fries, this combination is perfect and i can’t pass on it no matter how many times i have visited. The curries like butter chicken and achari ghosht always hit the spot, they are not too spicy but just enough heat and spice to allow you to enjoy the curry. The desserts are also worth indulging in, fried ice cream and the cinnamon doughnuts are well worth a try. The drinks are also very good. My only issue is that the place is sometimes very busy and waiting times can be lengthy. The price you pay is worth the treat.
