Used this hidden gem twice recently. Nann bread was fluffy and delicious. 2 very tasty chicken curries. Nothing was bright red (a nice change from other local curry places) and the rice was delicious. This is becoming our 'go to'. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came to Punjab Sweet Centre with great expectations but were terribly disappointed. Our family of 5 ordered Samosa Chaat, Sarson Sag Makki Roti, Chole Batturey, Chicken curry, Chilli Paneer, Rotis and Mango and Salty Lassis. The staff were very polite and cordial but was inexperienced in handling customers and kept fumbling at every step. The ambience and cleanliness was very good. The Chole in the Chole Batturey was watery. The chicken curry was terribly salty. We asked for lime to balance out the saltiness as it was practically inedible. Salty Lassi was terribly salty too The worst part of our experience was the wait between each and every dish that was served. All of the items in main course did not arrive at around the same time. It's understandable that Starters and Main arrive separately. But each main course item came separately too with at least 20 mins to 1/2 hour between each other. We won't be visiting again. We later learned from the staff that the regular chefs were on holiday and they still took our order. They should have flat out refused us instead of offering abysmal service.
