From the moment we arrived, this restaurant completely impressed us. The setting is absolutely stunningly stylish, welcoming, and full of atmosphere. The food was truly exceptional. Every dish was packed with incredible flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care and passion. The menu choices were outstanding, offering something for everyone while still feeling unique and thoughtfully curated. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on every level, but this restaurant certainly does. I would happily take the drive just to eat here again it’s that good. The owner and her staff were wonderful, providing warm, attentive service that made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. Good food, as long as you know what your ordering. Very fresh. Didn’t feel very Italian and it was hard to get a server’s attention when it was busy and with there being two rooms. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Sambuca Italian Restaurant offers traditional Italian dishes in their best form. The place is cozy. Thanks to the guest profile, it is not noisy. It was one of the most quiet restaurants I've visited. The place is ideal for a relaxing dinner and it's not that far from central Edinburgh. The staff were amazing. They engaged with me in the best possible way and they were always smiling. I think this is one of the most important aspects of restaurant management other than providing tasty food. Thanks for their brilliant service. The food was delicious. The portion size, freshness of the ingredients and hot service were all top tier. I wish to come back to Sambuca to see the amazing staff and food.
