We visited The Seafarer Restaurant in Broadstairs today for fish and chips and, overall, found it to be just okay. We had the medium cod and chips for £17.50. The fish wasn’t particularly big, although it tasted nice enough. The chips were good, but unfortunately, the meal wasn’t anything special. The young lady who served us was attentive. We also felt the restaurant could do with a bit of a revamp to freshen the place up. It was an okay meal, but we’d probably try somewhere else next time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Lovely staff and great service. I had a lovely plate of Fish and Chips and a cup of tea yesterday. Everything cooked fresh. Will surely be popping in to Seafarer again; when we are next visit the beach.. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had fish and chips last year while visiting the town and recall them being pretty decent. A year later and pretty disappointed. Fish was small and tasteless. Chips looked cooked but tasted uncooked, hard , tasteless, and not much different from oven chips! Even the seagulls didn’t go for us! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
